Although the styles of music will vary from week to week the common theme will be Blues: a fact highlighted by line-ups mixing the grit of George Shovlin's band, the hip-hop manifesto of Martin Fletcher's branded MFUS, and the acoustic brilliance of Steve Phillips. Over the past couple of years there's been a decline in the number and quality of venues where people can see and play great Blues. Therefore, Ropery will have acoustic and electric jam nights where budding musicians and old hands can play to an appreciative and supportive audience.
