The North East not only boasts the biggest shopping and entertainment complex in Europe, the MetroCentre, but then we also        have Eldon Square in Newcastle, and Eldon Garden Shopping Centre, the Bridges Shopping Centre in Sunderland, the Galleries in Washington, and other shopping malls in all major towns.
