Whickham, Newcastle, Tyne and Wear

Hi, we are two lasses who went on holiday to Magaluf in May 2004. We are trying to find any of the men who were there on a golfing holiday, and we are almost sure one of them mentioned they came from Whickham. We were staying in the Hotel Samos across the landing from them. We found out one of them is called Brian Macdonald.

We only really got talking to them whilst they were waiting for the coach to take them to the airport. My mate would love to hear from the nice man in the red polo shirt. Anyone with any information, please e-mail Lesley: harmonyangel10@hotmail.com

Tracing families of Whickham: JOSEPH THOMPSON and his wife, MARGARET
HAWKES, married at St. Mary's in Gateshead, 28 September 1828. Their
daughter, ANN THOMPSON, was born in Whickham 9 November 1829, then three
sons were born in Whickham; JOHN THOMPSON 14 November, 1831, JOSEPH THOMPSON
27 JULY 1834 and HENRY THOMPSON 6 June 1836.
Would like to know if anyone knows anything about this family and where
they might have lived.

Hi, I would be grateful if you would kindly put a message on the Whickham Board for me.

I am looking for Kevin Armstrong, I think he may live in the Wickham area now. He used to live in Wallsend and we used to see him Jim Parker and Derek Graham in the Royal Sov. in Tynemouth, the Bergundy Cobbler in Whitley Bay and the Chelsea Cat in South Shields in the early 70's. Would love to know how they are.

Hi I'm trying to seek a local girl named Karren. We meet in Newcastle on
Friday evening (23/05/03) I was in Newcastle taking part in a football
tournament. I believe she lives on the Watergate Estate (Broom Terrace area)
and is a nurse. I know she has been studying for her nursing exams and was
relieved she had almost or just finished them. She drives a blue Corsa and used to work at the NHS Health Centre on Prince Consort Road. I would love to contact her
